About Us

One Voice WeKare Foundation Inc.

OVWF was founded by Natalie and Noble Wekare, two individuals deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others. With a shared vision of creating lasting change, Natalie, a dedicated Social Worker, and Noble, an experienced Business Analyst, united their efforts to establish OVWF—a compassionate and impactful initiative focused on empowering youth across Australia, including Aboriginal communities.

Our Mission is to support and uplift young people across Australia, with a deep commitment to working alongside Aboriginal communities. We strive to create opportunities that encourage youth to make positive choices, stay connected to culture, and walk strong pathways away from challenges such as anti-social behavior and the criminal justice system. Through culturally responsive programs and holistic support, we empower young people to build essential life skills, embrace their strengths, and contribute to their communities in meaningful and lasting ways. At OVWF, we honor the wisdom and resilience of Aboriginal cultures and work in partnership to provide the tools and resources young people need to thrive and lead fulfilling lives.

Expanding Beyond Australia

Beyond our work in Australia, OVWF is committed to supporting communities in African countries and other regions in need. Our outreach focuses on assisting individuals facing extreme adversity, including those in custody, the elderly, people living with disabilities, orphans, and other vulnerable groups. We work to provide vital resources, educational opportunities, and support programs that foster resilience, economic empowerment, and community well-being. By collaborating with local organizations and leaders, we strive to create sustainable initiatives that uplift communities, helping individuals build brighter futures and break cycles of hardship.
Looking Ahead

Collaborative Efforts with a Dedicated Team

While Noble and Natalie Wekare are the founders of OVWF, we are not alone in our mission. We are fortunate to work alongside a dedicated team of board members, who share our vision and are committed to supporting those in need. These passionate individuals bring invaluable ideas, skills, and experiences to the table, helping guide and shape OVWF efforts in a way that is sustainable and impactful. Our board members collaborate closely with us, providing support, guidance, and diverse perspectives to ensure that we continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
We are also committed to securing government grants, seeking donations, and building partnerships with compassionate supporters around the world. With your help, we can continue to offer vital services and expand our outreach to reach those who need it most, both in Australia and globally.
At OVWF, we believe in the power of community, resilience, and collaboration. Together, with the support of our board members and partners, we can continue to create strong, resilient, and supportive communities where people of all backgrounds can thrive.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about OVWF. We are excited about the opportunity to make a lasting difference and look forward to your support as we work towards a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

Our Advocacy

OVWF is deeply committed to advocating for social justice, equity, and opportunity for all—especially marginalized and vulnerable groups. Our advocacy efforts focus on:
Youth Empowerment & Crime Prevention initiatives in Australia that align with OVWF’s mission:
  • Example: OVWF partners with community leaders, educators, and professionals to provide one-on-one mentorship to at-risk youth.
  • Impact: Young people receive guidance, career advice, and personal development support to help them make positive life choices and avoid pathways leading to the criminal justice system.
  • Example: We run cultural workshops in collaboration with Elders and Aboriginal community leaders, focusing on identity, connection to Country, and traditional knowledge.
  • Impact: Strengthening cultural pride and belonging helps young Aboriginal Australians build resilience and confidence, steering them away from crime and disengagement.
  • Example: OVWF organizes sports tournaments, music and art programs, and community events as an alternative to risky behaviors.
  • Impact: These activities provide youth with positive social networks and teach them discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Example: We offer scholarships, job training, and work placement programs for youth at risk of dropping out of school or facing unemployment.
  • Impact: Equipping young people with practical skills improves their job prospects, reducing the likelihood of engagement in crime.
  • Example: Collaborating with police, youth justice services, and community organizations to divert young offenders away from the criminal justice system through rehabilitation programs and community service instead of incarceration.
  • Impact: Reduces recidivism rates and provides second chances for young people to reintegrate into society with support and guidance.
  • Example: OVWF provides counseling, peer support, and mental health programs to help young people cope with trauma, substance abuse, and emotional challenges.
  • Impact: Addressing mental health issues early prevents destructive behaviors and fosters a healthier, more positive mindset.

These initiatives help reduce youth crime, strengthen communities, and create positive futures for young Australians, particularly those from Aboriginal and disadvantaged backgrounds.
